The service
We review the pages you send us and, where we agree a notice is justified and you approve it, prepare and send copyright takedown notices as your authorised agent. We are not a law firm and do not give legal advice.
What you confirm
That you own the work or are authorised to act for its owner, that what you tell us is true to the best of your knowledge, and that you will tell us if you learn the copy was licensed, quoted fairly, or published before yours. Each notice is made under penalty of perjury, and you approve it before it is sent.
Price and payment
The price per page is agreed in writing before we file and does not change. It becomes payable only once we have checked that the page is down or no longer carries your work. Review, declined pages, ignored notices and pages restored after a counter-notice are not charged.
No promise of the outcome
Hosts, registrars and search engines decide whether to act on a notice. We do not promise that any page will be removed, or by when.
When we stop
We may decline or stop work on a request at any point if we come to believe a notice would not be justified. Either of us may end the arrangement by email; nothing is owed for pages not yet removed.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our liability for any request is limited to the amount you paid us for it.
